Before enrolling your child in a daycare center, consider these five things to ensure they stay comfortable during the day.

1) The Right Fit

Find clothes that fit your child properly so that he or she is not constricted during their time at daycare. Tight clothing can be uncomfortable and may cause your child to feel frustrated or irritable during their day. On the other hand, clothing that is too loose or baggy can be a safety hazard. Your child may find that their pants get caught on a slide or door, or that their baggy shirt gets in the way of their play.

2) Proper Footwear

Most daycare centers include outdoor play time in their daily routine. Make sure your child is dressed for the weather and has proper sun protection. A hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen are all great ways to protect your child from the sun's rays. Additionally, provide your child with boots or other waterproof shoes so they don't have to worry about getting their feet wet when they're outside.
